Rhenus at TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026: New Opportunities for International and Intermodal Logistics

Rhenus 2026 1

Rhenus Intermodal Systems, part of the international Rhenus Group, will participate in the 29th Kazakhstan International Transport and Logistics Exhibition, TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026, taking place on 14–16 October in Astana. At its dedicated stand, the company will present comprehensive solutions for international freight transportation and the development of sustainable supply chains connecting Kazakhstan, China, Europe, Türkiye, the CIS countries, and Central Asia.

Rhenus has been operating in the Kazakh market since 1996, combining local expertise with the capabilities of a global logistics network. Customers benefit from rail, road, sea, and air freight services, intermodal transport solutions, project logistics, oversized and heavy cargo transportation, as well as import, export, and transit logistics. Supported by its own container fleet and an extensive network of international offices, the company designs flexible transport routes tailored to delivery times, costs, and cargo-specific requirements.

One of the key milestones in Rhenus’ development in Kazakhstan in 2026 has been the expansion of its terminal infrastructure. The QAZContargo Almaty rail terminal, located at Baiserke Station in the Almaty region, is directly connected to both the national and international railway networks. The terminal specializes in container handling and block train operations, offering cargo storage and transshipment services, as well as the transfer of bulk cargo from rail wagons into containers. Operational management of the terminal is carried out by Contargo Group, Rhenus’ long-standing partner in container logistics.

The expansion of terminal infrastructure strengthens Rhenus’ capabilities in organizing integrated transport solutions between China, Central Asia, and Europe, including services along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). For cargo owners, this provides the opportunity to combine international transportation, terminal handling, and onward delivery within a single integrated logistics chain.

At TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026, visitors to the Rhenus stand will have the opportunity to discuss solutions for rail and intermodal transportation, sea freight (FCL/LCL), road transport (FTL/LTL), express air freight, project cargo and oversized shipments, as well as tailor-made logistics solutions for imports and exports to and from Kazakhstan.

Rhenus 2026 2

With more than 100 years of logistics expertise, the Rhenus Group employs approximately 39,000 people across more than 1,300 locations in over 70 countries. Its global network, combined with ongoing investment in infrastructure across Central Asia, enables Rhenus to deliver reliable, flexible, and efficient logistics solutions for companies operating in international markets.

Rhenus invites partners, customers, and industry professionals to visit its stand at TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026 to discuss new opportunities for cooperation and the development of international logistics corridors.
